Andrew Sneddon is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Sneddon is particularly known for his work as a Dobro and Steel guitarist. He is a highly in demand side-man having appeared on recordings and in live performances with some of the east coasts most acclaimed musicians, including; Alan Jeffries, David Myles, Bruce Guthro, Matthew Hornell, Cassie and Maggie MacDonald, Rose Cousins, and Dave Gunning, to name just a few. He is also a founding member of the award winning contemporary bluegrass band The Modern Grass.
Andrew moves through many forms of traditional and contemporary music and is a skilled interpreter of many types of fiddle music on the Dobro, including Bluegrass, Old Time, and Celtic styles.
