Chris Murphy


Chris Murphy is a singer/songwriter from Kingston, Ontario. He has toured across Canada and into the US both as a solo performer, and as a member of such bands as Crooked Wood, and most recently Turpin’s Trail ( Chris also spent most of 2016 and 2017 touring the country as sideman for Séan McCann, where they played such stages as Toronto’s Hugh’s Room, Ottawa’s National Arts Centre, and Ann Arbor, Michigan’s famed “The Ark”. In 2012, Chris released an album entitled “Finally Coming Home”, which was recorded in Cape Breton, and produced by J.P. Cormier.
