Curtis Andrews/Pat Boyle

“Glocal” is what best sums up these two friends whose connection goes back more than 20 years. For years they’ve been spanning the planet (Ghana, Ireland, Croatia, Zimbabwe, India, Benin), following the sounds that inspire and attract them, fusing what what’s out there with what they already had inside and around them. Though both are now based in British Columbia, Andrews (percussion) was born and raised in Carbonear (Conception Bay) and Boyle (trumpet, guitar, misc sounds) in Mount Pearl. Before they went up-along St. John’s raised them on a steady diet of all things musical and they have played with the gamut of NL’s talent. Together they share a love for improvising and taking the known into the unknown.
