Harrison Vallis is an astonishing 15 year old accordion player from the West Coast, who started playing at the tender age of nine. His knowledge and love of traditional music shines through in his performances. He has a unique genre of music, from irish and scottish to traditional Newfoundland folk. Over the past number of years he has volunteered at many functions and played at numerous events, such as French and English Folk Festivals on the Port au Port Peninsula, Trails Tales and Tunes Festival, Norris Point, Roy Babstock Beaches Accordion Festival, Eastport. He has played with Bugs and Debbie Greene and was featured on Land and Sea. He has also preformed for audiences in Labrador, St. Pierre et Miquelon, Prince Edward Island and Quebec.
Harrison continues to push the boundaries of traditional folk music with his teacher Mr. Bernard Felix. He is looking forward to preforming this upcoming summer at local venues as well as entertaining province wide.
