Serena and Isaac Piercey are young fiddlers/violinists who have been playing and performing together for many years. Serena is a 16-year-old student at Holy Heart of Mary High School. In addition to playing traditional fiddle, she is an accomplished classical violinist and pianist. Isaac is a 14-year-old student at Brother Rice Junior High. Isaac plays both traditional and classical violin and viola. Isaac also plays guitar and mandolin. Both Serena and Isaac began playing music in the Suzuki Talent Education Program from a young age and currently play with the program’s Young Virtuosi group. Serena and Isaac love to play and perform traditional fiddle and as siblings, this duo has had many opportunities to play together, compose their own music and develop their style.
