An extra folked up Folk Night at the Ship with a High Fiddlety fiddle fest and featuring Duane Andrews, Kelly Russell, Maria Cherwick and Isaac Andrews Power! This will be a tour de force of the wide world of fiddling styles and influences that you do not want to miss! And yes…there will be Emile tunes. Guaranteed.

We are wrapping up the 2023 Folk Night season with a session hosted by our very own button and bow aficionado’s, Tamsyn Russell & Rosemary Lawton! Join us for some tunes and good times before the holidays!
As always, Folk Night starts at 9pm with a $5 cover fee for sessions.
Presented by the Newfoundland & Labrador Folk Arts Society, Folk Night at the Ship is St. John’s longest continually running live music event (it started in 1974!) and regularly draws a sizeable crowd each Wednesday night; sometimes 100 souls and rarely less than 50. The music ranges from solo songwriters, traditional Newfoundland, blues, klezmer and all styles in between.
Due to circumstances beyond our folk control there will be nar folk night danite bys. The Ship is closed til tomorrow.
