A group of story tellers and performing artists from our organization and community will take turns exploring the oral traditions of the Inuit, Mi’kmaq and Metis through song, story and throat singing’

1:00 PM - 2:00 PMA Grand Time at the NL Folk Festival! In 1973, Aidan O’Hara left Ireland for Newfoundland on a voyage that left a lasting mark on both islands. The Irish Traditional Music Archive (ITMA) joins host Anita Best to launch a new interactive website featuring the people and songs that Aidan recorded so many years ago on the Cape Shore. This singing session features Carolann and Juanita Lyver, Vince Roche, and Eugene Mooney.
