Sharing the stage tonight we have Dram & A Draw, with original songs crafted in the tradition of Maritime Celtic music, and Lindsay Ferguson, critically acclaimed Canadian Singer-songwriter with a unique style of folk meets pops meets country. The energy will be incredible, folks!
Len O’Neill, a singer-songwriter from St. John’s, Newfoundland, has gone from gigging in the local pub scene to releasing his solo album “Out Of View” in the spring of 2024. Influenced by a diverse range of artists spanning classic rock legends to poetic songwriters, Len crafts introspective, lyric-driven compositions exploring themes of ambition, sorrow, and personal growth. This local artist is really on the go right now, so we’d recommend getting a seat early enough to catch this Folk Night performance!
15 years of Southern Shore folk has brought his music to the darker side of folklore and general society – turmoil, humor, despair, and oddities past and present. Kyle has built up a repertoire of original and traditional music; raw, bare bones, downbeat songs and tunes on the 5-string banjo, button accordion, harmonica, and a few homemade contraptions from time to time. Accompanied by Kady Meaney on Guitar, this duo is gonna shake the Folk Night stage with their take on trad.
