Man, what a fine folk duo here tonight! Last time they played it was one of the finest sets of classic tunes, original numbers, first class musicianship and the vibe was all fun and genuine love of music was front and center. Just brilliant really.

Songwriter double bill!

One set each, Selina kicks it off at 9 with her brand of acoustic folk and Claire will take it out on the bluesier side of things.

Yessir, another session! Hosted by the the violin femme herself, Maria Cherwick.

The Newfoundland & Labrador Folk Arts Society, Inc is now hosting their Annual General Meeting in April rather than September!

This year’s meeting will be held April 11th, 2023 at 6:30PM at Gower St. United Church. Members can attend either in person or virtually.

We hope you’ll join us as the Board of Directors provides an update on the past year’s activities.

Members will then be asked to vote on the appointment of the chartered professionals.

Current members should have received access to the AGM Package. If not, please send an email to office@nlfolk.com with any troubleshooting needs.

April 12, at 9 pm, come celebrate with us the upcoming summer days with francophone music! The Folk Night at the Ship will become the “Folk Soirée en français”. Come and enjoy the performances of French-speaking artists such as Adrian House and the House Band and Soup du Jour.

Sure if this was ’73 they’d be at the Opry…come out for some bluegrassy, country haromonizing with these three gems.
