Local music veterans Colleen Power and Jason Whelan take the stage for this week’s Folk Night. You don’t want to miss this one, $10 at the door. 

We are bringing the ARTS back to the Newfoundland & Labrador Folk Arts Society with a good ol’ knitters night out the FIRST TUESDAY of every month. From 6:30-9pm at Sláinte join us for crafts and live music. From 6:30-7:00pm there will be a chatting period before the music starts. Music, generously donated by Jason Simms of The Corner Boys, starts at 7pm. Cover fee is $10.

Join us Wednesday night for the lovely musical musings of Sherry Ryan. “Blending folk-rock with country and Irish-Newfoundland roots, Sherry Ryan has firmly established herself as one of Atlantic Canada’s most beloved singer-songwriters”. Sure to be a grand time, don’t miss this classic Folk Night at the Ship.

Quidi Vidi Brewery is hosting a benefit concert to Save Our Festival! Join us April 19th from 12 –10 PM at The Taproom, for an evening of toe-tapping tunes, cold beers & community spirit.  

Our community is rallying support to help keep the NL Folk Festival alive, so it can continue bringing music, joy, & community to the beautiful Bannerman Park for years to come. Come have a jig, raise a pint & show your love for the amazing musical talent in our community.$10 cover. All beer sales go towards saving NL Folk Festival.

It’s wildflower season! Join multi-instrumentalists and singers Valmy Assam, Carole Bestvater, Maria Cherwick, and Amy Collyer-Holmes in a night of music both as gentle and fierce as the May breeze.
