Réunis par l’amour de la musique, ainsi que la langue française, Les Carriers y sont compris de Heather et Raymond Carrier et leur ami Jason March. Ils présenteront un mélange d’interprétations de chansons en français. Que vous préférez la musique pop, rock, country, folk ou même bluegrass, il y aura quelque chose pour vous.
United over a love of music and the French language, The Carriers bring together Heather and Raymond Carrier and their friend Jason March. They will be performing a mix of French cover songs. No matter your preference for pop, rock, country, folk or even bluegrass, there will be something for you in their set.
Port-aux-Poutines:
Port-Aux-Poutines est un duo francophone basé à St. John’s, Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, formé par Jenna Maloney et Axel Belgarde. Deux fois récipiendaire du prix MusicNL pour L’Artiste Francophone de l’Année, le duo fusionne les traditions musicales canadiennes-françaises et terre-neuviennes depuis 2022. À travers des chansons originales, des chansons folkloriques, ainsi que des traductions de chansons terre-neuviennes, Port-Aux-Poutines célèbre la diversité de la culture canadienne-française, raconte des récits et légendes de la province, et célèbre l’héritage et le patrimoine de la francophonie à Terre-Neuve.
Port-Aux-Poutines is a two-time MusicNL Award winning French-Canadian duo based in St. John’s, Newfoundland, formed by Jenna Maloney and Axel Belgarde. Since 2022, Port-Aux-Poutines fuses French-Canadian and Newfoundland musical traditions. Through original songs, folk songs, as well as translations of Newfoundland songs, the band celebrates the diversity of French-Canadian culture, tells stories and legends of the province, and celebrates the heritage of Francophonie in Newfoundland.
Adrian House & band:
Inspiré par les années 50 et 60, Adrian House chante des histoires à la fois drôles et émouvantes avec passion et sincérité. En 2020, ce francophile de Terre-Neuve fait la tournée musicale à vélo des provinces maritimes. En 2021, il accède aux demi-finales du Festival international de la chanson de Granby et devient ainsi le premier Terre-Neuvien à y participer, et en 2022 est finaliste au Gala de la chanson de Caraquet. Il produit un album, Pêcheur de rêves, en 2024, qui lui gagne le prix pour l’Artiste jazz de l’année de Music NL. L’album est un voyage de styles allant du folk au jazz, en passant par le rock & roll. Il explore des thèmes essentiels dont l’importance de suivre son propre chemin, de retenir une légèreté, et de s’ouvrir aux connexions qui se présentent dans la vie. La voix chaleureuse et ludique d’Adrian est un fil de joie de vivre qui fait voyager dans son univers merveilleux.
Inspired by the 50s and 60s, Adrian House’s songs are funny, moving and sincere. In 2020, this bilingual artist from St. John’s toured the Maritime provinces by bicycle. In 2021, he reached the semi-finals of the Granby International Song Festival, becoming the first Newfoundlander to participate. In 2022, he was a finalist at the Caraquet Song Gala. He released an album, Pêcheur de rêves, in 2024, which earned him the Music NL Jazz Artist of the Year award. The album journeys in style from folk to jazz, with touches of rock & roll. On it, Adrian explores essential themes such as the importance of following one’s own path, of staying lighthearted, and opening up to the connections that life brings. His warm and playful voice and lush arrangements invite listeners on a voyage into his enchanting world.
